Product Manager, Forms


Based in Richmond, Virginia, the Product Manager, Forms, will be a Technical Writer/insurance forms designer & producer. The ideal candidate will be detailed and solutions orientated, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.


The Technical Writer / Insurance forms designer & producer will form part of our Product customization team and be responsible for improving the user experience. The role will focus on creating, grooming, and enhancing high-quality insurance forms documents, ensuring that clients have access to professional, accurate, and efficient system-generated documentation. The core focus of the role is to ensure that all system documentation is accurate and user-friendly. Additionally, candidates will be provided training on tools to generate insurance policy documents.


What you will do


  • Create high-quality system documentation through a system tool, Docgen
  • Review and enhance existing forms documentation through Docgen
  • UAT support and documentation testing
  • Client engagement and client support during system documentation testing
  • Identify solutions for system documentation errors or problems
  • Ensuring that all system documentation errors are logged in Azure DevOps
  • Investigate solutions and create test plans for all Docgen tickets logged by clients
  • Responsible for all Docgen run to lives


What you require for the role


  • IT Qualification, relevant tertiary degree or diploma, or 3+ years’ experience
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as Technical Writer / UX Designer
  • Extensive experience with documentation generation tools (DocGen, Javadoc)
  • Experience using XML tools to create documentation
  • Experience in the development and implementation of test plans
  • Experience in the provision of UAT support for documentation testing
  • Previous software development experience (SQL, C#)
  • Insurance experience would be advantageous
  • A skilled wordsmith, capable of working alone with limited supervision
