We’re looking for a

Senior Risk Analyst


Based in London reporting to the Head of Exposure Management the Senior Risk Analyst will be responsible for providing appropriate exposure management support to our third party syndicate.


What you will do


  • Capture complicated treaty structures in order to price accounts at a high standard and provide accurate results to underwriters in a timely manner
  • Run a full D&F rollup each month and prepare reports for underwriters.
  • Support with treaty rollups where needed
  • Manage the day to day workloads of the outsourcing team (4 members). They are pricing focused, but all work will need to be checked thoroughly by yourself before anything is sent back to underwriters
  • Manage day to day queries/training for the outsourcing team and be on hand to step in at any time
  • Provide event response for both treaty and D&F underwriters in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepare data and communicate with brokers and underwriters in relation to outwards reinsurance purchasing
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks requested by underwriters in relation to all aspects of exposure management.
  • Keep abreast of any model changes/updates and/or any market news relevant to your job.


What you require for the role


  • Experience of using RMS-Risklink to a high level essential
  • Must have some experience with TigerEye
  • SQL- Intermediate level
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of treaty modelling.
  • Detailed knowledge of D&F modelling
  • Microsoft Excel- high level essential
  • Clear communication skills
  • Strong problem solver
  • Able to manage your own workload as well as help others.
